abstract = "Currently available graphics hardware has become programmable.
However, this programmability is still offered at a very low
abstraction level, usually based on a specialized assembly
language, and is difficult to use. To overcome this problem, we
present a simple programmable pipeline abstraction. Our proposal
is built over the Lua programming language. The application
programmer writes a Lua code that, when executed, generates the
equivalent assembly code to be loaded by the hardware. We compare
our proposal to other recently published ones or still under
consideration.",
